Friends, A few weeks ago, the Record Searchlight conducted an on-line poll regarding my candidacy for Congress. Although certainly not scientific by any means, the results proved interesting to say the least. I’ll let you draw your own conclusions. That process has now begun for my run for Congress. We picked up the appropriate petition forms last week from the Shasta County Clerk’s Office. Now, we need to gather approximately 60 signatures from registered [...] Friends, The 2010 Census is fast approaching. You can expect to receive your census forms in the March 2010 timeframe. As you know, the census is conducted every 10 years as called for in the US Constitution. Many of us in the veteran community are concerned that all eligible veterans were not counted in the 2000 Census, [...] Friends, Just a short reminder about tomorrow’s Wreaths Across America ceremony at the Northern California Veterans Cemetery starting at 12 noon. Following a short ceremony, those in attendance will be provided the opportunity to place wreaths at the gravesites of all our fallen heroes. Hope to see you there.
