I have known Colonel Pete approximately 5 months which has been long enough to know he is a man of integrity and honesty. His ideas for the future are sound and I hope people realize this and understand that it is time for a change.

Our current congressman has been in office for 24 years. Our Founding Fathers did not want our legislators to make a career out of government. They were to come to Washington for a few years, do good work, and return home to work.

Colonel Stiglich will not be taking a pension when he leaves congress after 6 years. He is already receiving a pension from his 26 years of service in the Air Force. I hope you will take the time to read what the Colonel has written on this website.

Please come to the McLaughlin Auditorium next to Sequoia Middle School on April 8th at 6:00 pm to see the Colonel debate Wally Herger. Please come and judge for yourself. I think you will see that we need to elect Colonel Pete Stiglich to congress in November.

Colonel Pete is the real change we need... Not Obama's kind of change, but a revolutionary kind of change. He is not afraid to tell Americans that our country simply cannot afford it, and it is necessary to wean people off of government dependence. He is the type of guy we need to get our budget back in order and our country back on the right track. If only there were hundreds more like the Colonel who are not intimidated by the truth and logical solutions to our country's problems.

Dear Commander,

I am a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant with over 26 years in service. I have served in the Persian Gulf War, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and the Global War on Terror. I have had the privilege of working with some of the best and brightest senior officers in the Air Force and I can tell you Colonel Pete Stiglich is one of them. I have known him for the last three years and have served on committees with him and participated in events honoring and supporting our Veterans.

Since his retirement, Colonel Stiglich has had the opportunity to hear the concerns of our Veterans and witness the representation they have in Washington D.C. This has prompted him to seek the office of Representative for California's 2nd Congressional District. He realizes that the task is monumental but he is up to it. He has some great ideas on how to restore our focus on the Constitution and honor and support our military.
